Our school ELSA room is located by the Key Stage two classrooms. It is run by Mrs Krzysiek who is our trained Emotional Literacy Support Assistant lead (ELSA). The classroom offers a safe, nurturing environment for all children and contains kitchen facilities, a cosy corner, a classroom desk area and a dedicated outdoor space.
We provide individual ELSA sessions in the mornings and group sessions in the afternoons. These sessions offer support for a range of areas including; emotional literacy, self-esteem, social skills, friendship issues, managing strong feelings, anxiety and loss and bereavement. The aim is to build your child’s emotional wellbeing, giving them the tools to cope with life’s challenges and reach their potential academically.
