Lantern Parade January 21st 2017
What a fantastic afternoon! A huge thank you to all those who supported Year 4 and Holy Cross by walking with us in the Lantern Parade. Year 4 put a lot of hard work and copious amounts of effort into making the Holy Cross school girl and crosses to show in the parade. We decided to create a school girl as another way of celebrating our 50th year anniversary, the crosses not only represented various times in our 50 years but also as a way of representing the catholic ethos of our school.
Below are pictures taken by the children during the walk. Finally a huge thank you to Mrs Edward, Mrs Kingston and Mrs Matthews for marshaling our group, Mr Franks and Mrs James for helping to support Miss Ormsby, who wore the lantern for the duration of the event.
