Please make sure that your children's belongings, especially sweatshirts, are labelled clearly.
Children in Year 2 are expected to begin to make neat, legible joins in their handwriting using a cursive style. The video below details how children should start by going through each letter of the alphabet. Children will have regular practice of handwriting in class however, any additional practice at home will be of benefit to your children. Below is the handwriting booklet we will be using which you could print off and use at home or ask myself, Mrs Tamlin or Mr Smart and we will be happy to help you in any way that we can by printing it for you.
