Eco Warriors

Eco Warriors

Welcome to Holy Cross Primary School’s Eco Warrior page. Our newly appointed Eco Warriors are working hard to help the whole school become more eco-friendly.

Why do we have Eco Warriors?
Eco Warriors give pupils a chance to influence how our school cares for the environment. They share their own ideas, listen to the views of others, and pass on information from eco meetings. The role helps pupils build confidence, communication skills and teamwork.

Who can be an Eco Warrior?
Any child can apply in September by writing a short letter explaining why they would make a great Eco Warrior. Staff and pupils then vote for the representatives in each class.

What do Eco Warriors do?
Our Eco Warriors help look after the school environment. They remind others to follow our eco-code, monitor energy use, encourage recycling and share updates with their class. They meet regularly with Miss Bird to discuss ideas and plan next steps.
