Marvin Rees, The Mayor of Bristol visits Year 5

This morning Year 5 were extremely lucky. We met the Mayor of Bristol, Marvin Rees. He spoke to the children about having high aspirations of ourselves and not to let anything get in our way of our dreams. He spoke about the importance of hard work, resilience and not to let set backs get us down. He also stressed the importance of choosing the right type of friends and having the right people around us. After the assembly he invited us to city hall to see where he works.
