Using the dramatic Gospel story of Jesus and the money lenders in the temple, children are encouraged to think about Jesus’ response to injustice and how this can inspire their own responses to injustice in their communities.

In the Gospel this week, Jesus also felt the need to speak out when something wasn’t right… There are things happening today that are not the way they should be: people sleeping on the streets is not how God intended the world to be; graffiti and vandalism are examples of a misuse of God’s creation. Can you think of other examples of things in the world that are not the way they should be? Can you think of anything you could do to change it?
