The role of Sports captain is an important one. Their duties include coaching small games and activities at lunch times for both KS1 and KS2, being role models to the school showing fair play and good sportsmanship and many more. The picture below shows this years sports captains.

First football game of the season

Holy Cross played their first football game ever last week against Headley Park. The boys proved to be fantastic role models to our school showing excellent sportsmanship. Unfortunately the game ended as a loss for Holy cross but as our Captain Jake said "It's not all about the winning but about having fun and taking part". Below are some snaps from the game. Well done team HC!

Second game of the season.

Holy Cross played against Compass point last week. We were incredible and we played like a team. Unfortunately the game ended in a loss but Harrison scored an incredible Hattrick. Well done Team HC.

Sports Champion visit

On the 16th November 2017 Robert Mitchel visited our school. He worked with each year group and did a circuit training session including spotty dogs, press ups and star jumps. He then did a whole school assembly describing his ambition and determination to become a high jump champion. The whole school very much enjoyed his visit.
